3D Bioprinted Hard Scaffolds
Nerve Regeneration Conduit
Description
Nerve regeneration conduits are one of the most innovative approaches in neurosurgery for repairing various nerve injuries. The primary function of nerve conduits is to enclose the distal and proximal ends of the severed nerve. The conduit will serve as a guide for nerve cells to regenerate, providing a barrier for the healing nerve and a space for interaction between the exudates and severed nerve ends.

Hybrid Nerve Regeneration Conduit
Features
Our 3D bioprinted hybrid nerve regeneration conduit consists of synthetic and natural polymer, manufactured with micrometer precision using our 3D bioprinting know-how.
T&R’s nerve regeneration conduits will have the following properties:
01Biocompatibility and biodegradability
02Mechanical stability: Angling without bending or collapsing the tubes
03Increased length > 5cm
04Semi-permeability
T&R has secured 4.8 billion KRW (~3 million USD) for R&D funding for this project til 2025.
